Star, it seems we're in agreement on the Constitutional
uncertainty about Obama's Eligibility. It's truly unresolved.

How would you answer the survey?:

Please rate the integrity & honesty surrounding the
Chain of Custody of Obama's "birth certificate."

Answer the following honestly ("1" is LOW, "10" is HIGH):

Rate the integrity & honesty of Barack Hussein Obama?

Rate the integrity & honesty of Obama's
2008 Chicago Campaign office?

Rate the non-partisanship of FactCheck.org
in "evaluating" Obama's COLB?

Rate the integrity & honesty of Nancy Pelosi and the DNC?

You were saying ...

Star, it seems we're in agreement on the Constitutional uncertainty about Obama's Eligibility. It's truly unresolved.

I did clarify that, but I do need to do that again, as it's not that simple as that particular statement of yours.

I think of the two parts that need resolving there are different things that need resolving.

Part 1 has to do with producing the birth certificate. That needs a state law enacted in order to make it mandatory that a candidate produce his birth certificate or else he cannot be on the ballot in that state. Now, Obama or any other candidate was not legally required to produce a birth certificate and thus, that's why we need some state laws to that effect.

That's one "unresolved" issue, but it requires a state law and Obama didn't do anything different than any other candidate before him did (in regards to that birth certificate). That's why we need that state law.

On Part 2 -- the natural born status issue... that won't be resolved, because we've got two opposing legal sides to this issue. Both maintain that they are right (and either one may be right, actually, depending on what a decision says). So, that will remain unresolved until the Supreme Court weighs in on it. But, I wouldn't hold my breath for it, since they are notoriously slow in those types of things. I don't expect to see anything from the Supreme Court, any time soon, over this issue.

Of the two "unresolved" parts, only Part 1 can we really do something about right now. Part 2 is likely to remain unresolved all the way through Obama's term in office.

In regards to your questions... and just to let you know, I never hit number 1 or 10 in any case... just not my style on any of these types of things... :-)

  1. Rate the integrity & honesty of Barack Hussein Obama? - 2

  2. Rate the integrity & honesty of Obama's 2008 Chicago Campaign office? - 2

  3. Rate the non-partisanship of FactCheck.org in "evaluating" Obama's COLB? - 2

  4. Rate the integrity & honesty of Nancy Pelosi and the DNC? - 2

I should also note that in Question #3, I don't pay any attention to that, but I do pay attention to the official statement from the State of Hawaii saying that Obama was born in Hawaii. Now, that's something that makes a difference in the minds of the wider voting electorate.

But, in regards to these questions, I already knew all that, which is why I voted for the GOP ticket... :-)

I even was hoping that there were enough PUMAs to sway the election over to our side... doncha know...
