I tend to agree.

Palin is walking a tight-rope right now between two worlds. I don’t think she can be both a serious policy person and a tv star. She will likely eventually have to choose.

Oh, and one more thing: If you choose president, there’s a good chance you won’t actually win it, elections and the American people being who they are, and if you lose, you damage the entertainment side brand

She's obviously chosen the TV/money route and good for her. She's going to make a bunch of money and retire even wealthier than she was going to and there is nothing wrong with that at all. She may disappoint some folks by stepping out of politics, but I think she's probably weighed what more involvement in politics would mean to her and her family and this handily wins out.
