Farm take over, they say?
Every farmer that I know has been watching this episode develop. Are they concerned? No. The local communities are reliant upon them for employment and those employees make a fierce group to deal with if threatened. The gov would have to confront the farm hands, truckers, tankers, deckhands and their families & friends in order to gain any advantage. If they manage that, the Roman scorched earth policy comes to mind.
Never happen.
Every farmer I’ve met AT LEAST owns a scoped 30-06, and knows how to use it very well.
Every farmer I know thinks land is one of the things you should die for.
