Template: Candidate George W. Bush in 2000 had his "Austin 12" of "Gays" sit down with him in Texas in a serious meeting to each sound off with their individual concerns and requests. Of course, as I understand, they by and large walked away disappointed but at least they did tr (and no, I did not support what they called for).
Why cannot we have our own "Come to Jesus" moment for Governor Palin on this INSANITY of illegal aliens, by FR picking out one or two eloquent naturalized or green card residents in the US, each tell their own story for 2 minutes, and how they are to a person so totally insulted by the unfairness of uncontrolled immigration as well as legalizing ("regularization" as the RINO elite emote) those who are already on US soil
? Call it Sarah's "Immigration Policy Advisory Session" (IPAS). Then in closing remarks to this private group, see if Gov. Palin has sufficiently "gotten the point" and or what she might assure such a group on that issue.
If her staff refused such a meeting with such a blue-ribbon group of GOOD conservative LEGAL ALIENS and NATURALIZED CITIZENS, why the conservative talk shows and blogs would burn it up and it would be a real statement. I don't care WHICH POLITICIAN. Watch what they DO, not what they SAY. God love her. Push for solid commitments. Ask Palin reiterate this position publicly in a speech or speeches. Somebody like Michelle Malkin or Tom Tancredo or Duncan Hunter could get this meeting going. I also think of that fine Latina lady up in Chicago as well who is a dynamite articulator of this perspective, from our immigrant community. We could find them from Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe, South America, North America (maybe even a legal penguin or two).
Let's force their hand with friendly, internal GOP Conservative pressure--while there is time--and we are well out ahead of the snows of Iowa and New Hampshire in 2012. Pissant, what do you think? I would be happy to work out a short strategy plan for such a meeting with Gov. Palin with input from others. Somebody may well steal this idea, but so be it. You heard it here first. "There is no limit to what a man can do or where he can go....if he doesn't mind who gets the credit."
I appreciate your posting this timely and completely appropriate suggestion. It really is going to be necessary for Palin, and any other prospective candidates, to address this issue in clear, unambiguous terms. And, the sooner the better.
Ping to post #197 (you’re mentioned).
Too lmany people think it's hopeless, we could never send them all back, never catch them all, etc--BUT THEY WOULD SELF-DEPORT IF THEY WERE CUT OFF OF ALL GOVT ASSISTANCE!
