My wife says that the tamales are made by the daughter-in-law of one of her co-workers. She makes, pork, beef, chicken, bean-cheese, and one of my faves...Jalapeno-cheese tamale....smother it with a green chili sauce...w/rice and beans....yum yum.

my grandmother made them when she was alive - my mother refused to - they are so much work and takes talent to know how much fat to keep them from being dry - corn shucks, patting out the masa, rolling them out - she would tie bundles of 3 with strips of corn shucks - lotta work for an old woman with arthritis so we were told not to ask her to make them

way too involved - i would not make them for $100/dozen
