You are saying UPS could deliver mail to every house 6 days a week. I don’t believe it, UPS can’t even deliver packages 6 days a week at twice the cost of USPS. At least you can get Saturday delivery from FEDEX, but it ain’t cheap. Must have something to do with a union.

I said USPS is using their first class postage to subsidize their parcel prices. No, UPS can’t deliver mail because the only one allowed to is the USPS. They have a monopoly. Do you know if you put a birthday card in a ups package, you are supposed to stick a postage stamp on it?

If first class mail deliver was opened up to competition, you can bet a private company would rung circles around the USPS.

btw, I think the post office going to a five day week makes total sense.

and a second btw, UPS has Sat. delivery in most areas.
