Sorry, but there is a long and sordid history of 'aggrieved' minorities pulling stunts like this. Had it been Asian, the media release would have mentioned the specific ethnicity instead of burying it.

This appears to be a deliberate attempt to inflame tensions, for the purpose of helping black students extort more "gimmes"
