March 1, 2010 Anderson Cooper Said to Meet With CBS News Executives By BRIAN STELTER
Do CBS News executives have their sights set on Anderson Cooper?
Mr. Cooper, a prime time CNN anchor, already contributes to 60 Minutes, the prestigious CBS newsmagazine. And the relationship could expand. Mondays New York Times reports:
CBS executives, mindful that Katie Courics contract expires in a little over a year, have talked to Anderson Cooper of CNN about an anchor job, according to two TV veterans informed of the meeting.
The meeting took place months ago, well before Mr. Cooper was dispatched to cover the devastating earthquake in Haiti in January.
The silver-haired Mr. Cooper has worked at CNN since 2001, and has anchored the channels 10 and 11 p.m. hours since 2005.
It is unclear whether Mr. Cooper was (or is) being considered by CBS executives as a replacement for Ms. Couric, the anchor of the CBS Evening News. Her five-year contract ends in mid-2011.

Anderson Cooper to cap the long line of lying liberals...
Cronkite, Rather, Schieffer and Couric?
Personally, I think Rosie O'Donnell would be a better choice... She's a lesbian, ugly, stupid and the perfect spokesbeing for the liberal agenda. AND CBS gets more for their money pound for pound, don't ya see?

Anderson Cooper (gnat brain) meeting with News (no brain) executives.
I am so tired of these people wasting money and time and possibly good programing. Ir’s too bad we the public have to pay for their mistakes.

This little twerp won’t have the time for a new job. He bought a firehouse in Greenwich Village and he and his boyfriend are remodeling it into a residence. You can’t make this s**t up

He doesn’t need it. He’s an heir to one of the biggest fortunes in America, the Vanderbilt’s.

AC might be okay for the CBS Morning Show. Anything else makes no sense.

I think I trust Richard Simmons about ten times more than Anderson Cooper. And Richard Simmons wears shimmery hot pants all the time.

Couric is on CBS, and not on NBC, but what does that matter?

Even if Cooper doubles the viewership, it won’t break triple digits, and they will still be people who can’t figure out how to switch to Fox.

Journey with me now back to 1984. A TV show “Buffalo Bill” ran on NBC for two seasons but was canceled due to low ratings. In a rare instance both the critics liked it and it was a good show. NBC President Brandon Tartikoff had to cancel his favorite show, something he still regrets.
Brings me to the point of what happened to get us where we are now? Why do networks keep trying to force people on us we don't care to see? Only a complete moron would think that the viewers would watch somebody they cant stand. Cooper is just as useless as Couric.
