The Easter Bunny was killed by Santa Claus several years ago.
And I thought I was getting hosed.
8There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
All - good - especially verse 8.
Perfect love does drive out all fear!
I am not afraid - of what is happening or what will happen either on this earth or to me personally.
That doesn’t mean I am running all over crazy like looking for trouble (although I realize posting this thread brings trouble in itself - but am not afraid of that either because do belong to Jesus!)
I would to God that ALL would be saved and would come to the saving knowledge of His Son Jesus!
Pride gets in the way for many.
But that is another reason He is speaking through all these events and all the “strange” clouds and events in the sky.
I imagine there are going to be a LOT more reports of such things - which is another reason we must also be praying without ceasing....another command He gave us.
You’re a prime example of why a mind is a terrible thing to waste.
As a fairly religious person myself, I do continue to find it ironic that people have been proclaiming the imminent return of Jesus for ..... centuries.
I respect your opinion on this.
Good. Cuz I’d have to smack you up the side of the head or something. LOLOLOL!!!
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO KIDDING EVERYONE!
Its farther away than you could know.....by 10 or 15 years.
and don’t ask me to prove that.
;-)
. . . .. . .you show the fun part.
I'm thinkin it could develop like this:
Stop insulting people by calling them “mockers”...not exactly the ideal way to make Christ look attractive to those who don’t know Him yet...
If nothing else, I believe this thread proves that God has a real sense of humor. :-)
Well - yes - but for some reason Jesus left it so that each generation would be looking for His Return in THAT generation.
He evidently delayed His coming in order that millions more would join Him in glory forever.
I know that opens another can of worms...
But here is the thing - if we read the Bible - all through it we are told about a time of great tribulation coming on the world - one day - connected in some way to the Messiah’s dealings with this world and with His chosen people - Israel.
If we believe the Bible tel,s the truth about the birth and life and death and resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ (His first coming which was to be the Lamb of God who was sent to take away the sins of the world in his death on that cruel cross) - - why is it so wierd to also believe the Bible when it tells us about His Second coming?
The saying "every day is a gift" is usually seen as a Polyanna-ish statement, but I think that misses the point. A gift is, by definition, something you have not earned, do not deserve and have no right to expect.
Why not, he invented it.
Well yes He does as a matter of fact.
By the way just where is Al Gore about now?
