President Obama said Saturday he is ready to compromise with Republicans on health care if they are serious about it, but that an overhaul must go forward.
"Let's get this done," he said.
Obama's comments in his weekly Internet and radio address, two days after an all-day bipartisan summit across from the White House, were the latest sign that Democrats are getting set to try to pass health care legislation without any Republicans on board.
Success will require colossal efforts on the part of Obama and Democratic leaders to round up votes after a year of corrosive debate and a Senate special-election upset that threw the overhaul effort into limbo last month. But Obama and the Democrats reject the piecemeal approach sought by Republicans and have no intention of scrapping their 10-year, $1 trillion bill and starting over, as the GOP demands.

This was all BS. If the Dems had the votes, they wouldn’t have met with the Repubs and given them the spotlight the way they did. But they don’t have the votes. It’s their majority and they can pass anything that will sell to their incumbencies. This crap won’t.

Actually he refuses to face failure, but failure doesn’t care, it can proceed with or without him. I wonder if he has ever known any kind of honest success that wasn’t handed to him or gained by underhanded methods.

We now know Thanks to Dr. Jack Cashill, that he never wrote “DREAMS FROM MY FATHER!”, that he never published a thing of any import in his life even tho he conned his way into stealing the Editorship of THE HARVARD LAW REVIEW, that NONE of any of his past records are available for inspection, that is except his notable absences from his only real job, that of a U.S. Senator! and that for unexplained reasons he lost his law license along with his wife’s only a few short years
after obtaining it........And We now know he stinks at speaking without a Teleprompter and someone else’s words! But we do know that he excels at finding plenty of time to “GOOF OFF” shooting B-Ball, Golfing, Partying and entertaining his Celebrity Friends........PATHETIC!! :-(
Well, he seems to be succeeding at destroying what remains of America! I am not sure whether his apparent overall incompetence is helping or hindering him in that project.
