Its disturbing anyway, I am monitoring the live feed of Global Earthquakes right now, where I am in Alaska is at the northern part of the Ring of Fire, Japan was hit last week and I have seen a 300% increase of small quakes locally here.
The real worry? My cats have gone ballistic, climbing the walls and are now hiding, I kid thee not, I mean it friend.

I have been researching volcanos and earthquakes for a book I am writing. I have seen evidence of a roughly 100 year cycle of increasing and decreasing severity of those events. One aspect is that there seems to be about a 30 year period when there is a greater amount of such activity. If I am correct that we are near the end of the most recent cycle and can expect some very major quakes and volcanic events in the next few years.
The previous cycle started with the 1883 Krakatoa Volcano, the Charleston EQ in 1886 had major volcanos in Martinique, St. Vincent, and Central America in 1902 and 1903, the San Francisco EQ in 1906, and ended with Katmai volcano in Alaska in 1911. There were no doubt other events of interest, but these are the ones I have looked at in detail.
The cycle before that began with the Laki Fissure event in Iceland of 1783 which killed 10,000 people, mostly from starvation, and may have triggered the French Revolution. It ended with the great New Madrid, MO series of EQs during 1811-1812. There was an 1812 EQ in Caracas, Venezuela that killed 20,000 (Tell Chavez that our secret weapons test back then also caused that EQ, not just the one in Haiti). Undoubtedly there were other events in between, but I have not studied that period as much.
Here on the Oregon Coast we are due for the every 300 yr mega quake.
So you know it is running through my mind as well.
King Vanity (being a quad has spec prep needs) is delaying our departure for doing our shuttle route for the Seafood/Wine fest.
So as what ends up being delays can be a good thing or as it seems to always work out for us.
We Prayed before departure for a safe route and good riders as we will today but add on intentions for no natural disasters.
We are in a huge tsanami zone.
Our home is one of the rare areas that sits just out of the wave flow of the zone.
Ocean/bay as I look out the perch here continues to look like a sheet of glass very quiet and still.
We live right on top of a sea bird sanctuary so we will be watching their behaviour.
Prayer intentions for all Gods people/creatures living in the middle of the quake zone.
And all those souls now in repose.
