Depressing, isn’t it? I’ve never understood why they don’t cover natural events/disasters more thoroughly. CNN is excellent for this kind of situation.

Yes, compare the reporting of Haiti, CNN by far exceeded Fox in that situation.
The only time they report is when they can get Geraldo to ham it up, but no serious reporting. Shame.
