I don't disagree, but the US is a young county. My point is that a single earthquake has the potential to kill more than every other natural disaster the United States has experienced combined. Speaking of which, tomorrow is the 100th anniversary of the Wellington Avalanche, the deadliest in the US. Those not familiar with the story may find it interesting.

My point is, hurricanes and tornadoes kill many times more people in the U.S. than earthquakes.
This is just a simple fact.
