Not sure what effect this will have at the grocery store. we get a lot of fresh stuff from chile..For about 12 years I worked for a company that fumigated Chilean fruit upon arrival in the port of Los Angeles and San Diego. It was amazing how many grapes, peaches, plums and nectarines would come off of one reefer ship. After a looking at it all for so long I couldn't eat fruit for a long time, I was sick of it.
