The date you’ve given is one proposed by modernists who wish to explain away Daniel’s accurate prophecies of the Persian, Greek, and Roman empires. However, 180 BCE is impossible. How do I know? Daniel is part of the Septuagint, a Greek translation of the Hebrew scriptures, used in the NT. That translation began in 300 BCE in Alexandria Egypt.
