Talking to someone IN Chile right now. He says that there have been at least 10 aftershocks in 8 hours, many deaths, and they are being told that more earthquakes are coming. He says that the south of the country is falling apart. Not sure what he means by that... But a lot of damage most likely.
He says that there are many deaths and a lot of buildings damaged. He says that where he is the earth quake was 8.5 so he is a bit from the center, but still entirely too close. He is in Region del Maule.
