On the radio KFI LA..
Long Beach, California harbor water was receding too much for boats to dock.
What a winter this has been. I need to take a break for refreshments but that’s when the surge will happen. They don’t name tsunami’s do they? seems like they name everything else.
That would be the sign that it won’t be long from what I have read....
Not enough time to select a politically correct name.
Almost 11:43 a.m.
Hawaii time...No tsunami in sight.
Have a feeling all the tsunami reporting was overrated and embellished....Hope I’m right.
Unfortunately, I’m in NJ.. but FoxNews is reporting areas of receding water in Cali.. relating to the tsunami.
it looks telepathic to me.
Quote:
The death toll is slowly rising as information trickles out of Chile after a huge 8.8 magnitude earthquake struck late yesterday, flattening buildings and triggering a tsunami that is menacing the Pacific rim.
The death toll stands at 147, but seems certain to rise.
The earthquake is estimated to have unleashed 500 times the energy of the Haiti earthquake and is one of the most powerful on record.

That would be a blessing, wouldn’t it?
Wow, but the Haiti EQ was much shallower. I saw this morning that the Chile quake was 22KM.
Not a bad thing, but one day a BIG ONE will shake the USA West Coast mostly Northern California to Alaska will face a possible major and damaging Tsunami. SOCAL will not escape totally.
Kaku's on the radio tonight at 7 pm. ck your local listings.
11:45 HST. No tsunami in sight....
Bush’s fault.....
GOD BLESS CHILE in that nation’s time of need now and forwards in time.
“Further south there are fires in the city of Concepcion where communication is down and roads and bridges have been fractured and broken.”

Yes....I have a feeling there is no Hawaiian tsunami coming. Other than a very mild minor water surge, we’re not going to see anything. Hopefully.
LOL CNN just said some idiots are standing right on the beach on Oahu waiting for the waves. The cops chased them off but they came right back.
Fools and their lives are soon parted.
I lived in Long Beach a long time ago in a little cement house. We had those metal lawn chairs that burnt your seat when you sat down.
I hear ya.. I took the pooch for a super short walk.. glued to the TV. As far as I know they don’t name tsunamis.. yet.
