Rick came in handy this a.m. when he was translating - I think today was supposed to be his day off but he translated. David Shuster’s as much of a jerk as Sanchez. Shuster has hissy fits though so at least there’s some comic relief.

Well, I have to admit he is sexy. Don’t ask me why, but he just is.
Time is not exact may be before or after time expected. Waves may come in a series mins to hours aprt. First wave not the biggest.
Galapagos definitely not Hawaii. They are the Easter Islands where some original natives have resettled there, are they not? (gee, my lack of scientific and geographic certainty on display today).

Tsunami advisory issued locally

A tsunami advisory has been issued for coastal California, including San Diego County, until 2 p.m. Saturday due to an 8.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Friday night near the coast of central Chile.
San Diego lifeguards are advising the public to stay out of the ocean and away from the immediate coast during the warning period. People should not go to local harbors or beaches to view the event, lifeguards said.
Strong currents are expected along the shorelines with the potential for some minor flooding, according to the National Weather Service.
Ocean levels are expected to rise by 2.3 to 2.6 feet, with waves of 2 feet to 4 feet at about noon, lifeguards
