They hate her because she is so sweet and nice and likable. The pro-abortion strategy was to paint all pro-lifers as overweight, grumpy old men and celibate smarmy church ladies who want to have control over young women. They can't do that with Palin and that drives them nuts.

True enough, but those attributes miss the core of the issue. Liberals hate her fundamentally because she embodies the three things liberals fear most: She is good; she is free; and she is a patriotic American.

If she does make a run I expect that the left will do something irretrievably evil to stop her.
