Thanks for posting that Drudge page header.
I’m glad to hear from some of the posters here that the Republicans are doing well. Frankly, I wonder how many people are watching this junk. I can’t imagine very many.
Which is why I appreciate Drudge’s work over this past year. I suspect he will reach more viewers than Obama will.
That’s important, because the Left Wing Press can be relied on to misreport this meeting for the next few days, saying that Obama won the debate, and isn’t he brilliant, and what a bunch of thugs those Republicans are.
Many more people will get that from the news reports than will be watching this meeting, I would guess. We’ll see what the numbers are in a day or two—both viewer numbers and Obama poll numbers.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious.
But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly.
But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.
For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.
He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist.
A murderer is less to be feared."
