I just went through this with my little girl. She was presenting with some symptoms of a tumor. We were able to have a brain MRI the next day after order. Thank God for good results, but I am grateful for million dollar machines that are available. Yes, I’m having to pay the bulk of the costs of the tests - but it is worth it.

I have a high deductible on my insurance, and would do as you did...pay the costs over time or whatever. Under Obamacare, we wouldn’t get that option, we’d just have to wait for a slot to open up. I’d rather incur the debt and have me or my child diagnosed asap!
