Smaller government and less spending? As in less government is the best government? Sounds like the conservative party I joined in the late 70’s. Think we will ever get back that?? I never imagined I would see the spending that I have seen by the Republican party in the last eight years...well, further back than that. jeeze.
Every piece of legislation seems to expand government and add to the deficit. Just once I’d like to see legislation that reduces the size of government and cuts spending. Give the taxpayers a break now and then.
