If by nut job you mean that he's the most small-government, pro liberty politician in the USA, then yes. Those with views to the left of small-government types call Constitutionalists all kinds of names; nut job and hatemonger are the two most common. In fact, over half of the residents of the pre-state colonies called our founding fathers the same exact things. But thank God they stood true and won our freedom from big government tyranny.
But, for all of you that hate Dr. Paul, never fear. I heard him in an interview with Wolf Blitzer yesterday and Paul slipped up and stated that he was soon to retire. So, when that happens, and there is no authentic voice for strict Constitutionalism left in Washington, you can go to bed after (as Mark Levin so eloquently stated) your work is done in the rice fields at the command of your communist government.
Neo-Con: Anybody who does not worship Ron Paul.
Statist: Anybody who does not worship Ron Paul.
Paul-Hater: Anybody who does not worship Ron Paul.
RINO: Any GOP candidate who is not Ron Paul.
Small-government conservative: This only applies to Ron Paul or Ron Paul disciples such as Debra Medina or Rand Paul. Nobody else is allowed to claim this.
Big-government supporter: Anybody who does not worship Ron Paul.
People who understand and support the Constitution: This only applies to Ron Paul or Ron Paul disciples such as Debra Medina or Rand Paul. Nobody else is allowed to claim this.
9/11: What the US deserved for refusing to roll over to Muslim terrorists in the Middle East.
So you think Ron Paul would be a good president....you’re a nutjob too.
No, by nut job, we mean completely certifiable.

Um...
ok.
Yeah, it’s amazing how the man who follows the Constitution more closely than any other is demonized more than all the Rinos combined. It’s sad. I was much like most of those on here with regards to foreign policy before, but I never disrespected Dr. Paul, even when I disagreed with him. Now I pretty much agree with him and it just makes you feel hopeless than people attack him with more vitriol than they attack socialists. I put this question to anyone who attacks him: Point by point, who in Congress adheres to the Constitution as much as Dr. Paul?
There’s nothing to gain by treating him the way he is treated on here, but much to lose by replacing him with someone who “interprets” the Constitution.
“But, for all of you that hate Dr. Paul, never fear.”
Because there is no chance in hell that he will ever be president.
