I had not heard that story. Thanks for telling me. NBC, once a great broadcasting company, produces nothing but partisan, yellow journalism. They are despicable, and it’s sickening that other media closed ranks behind them and blackballed GM, not that I care about GM now. Their caving in to the UAW several years ago sealed their fate and lost my respect. They, too, were once a great company.

GM had no choice. Chrysler went first because the unions targeted them. GM fell because everyone thought they were too big to fail. Ford survived only because they mortgaged everything before credit disappeared. Ford is next.

It’s not a level playing field because our unions cannot control what happens in Japan, and because the states have resorted to economic warfare to get foreign automotive plants. This is no different than the tariffs states imposed on each other during the days before the Constitution.

Obama thinks he is fooling people into thinking he is leveling out the playing field. In reality, he is just paying off his trial lawyer buddies by waging economic warfare on Japan. It’s hamfisted and dangerous, considering China is selling our debt to Japan. Obama just has no idea what “friend” means - just look how he treated Poland over missle defense.

We handed a child the remote to the TV and now we are stuck watching Sesame Street. The entire world is waiting for his remaining three years to end.
