I was listening to the John Batchelor show last night and he had VDH on for a segment.
What I most remember is him saying that the policies of “quadrupling” the drone attacks to try to dismember AQ and the Tali, while maintaining bad policies of civilian trials, treating war as crime, etc., is “a huge paradox”, and is “unsustainable for the long run” because it is paradoxical and inconsistent.
In this world angels that fly turn into pigs with wings very quickly.
