Absolutely not. I am pushing neutrality.
And if you find my libertarian leanings expressed on drug threads, you will find that I am for conservative curbs on federal power over person freedom but not for handing out free needles and drugs.
Both recognition and suppression of homosexuality are essentially religious views with no place in government, while heterosexual marriage has secular, practical and universal exclusive bases, which I could go into explicit detail you would rarely find elsewhere.
Nonsense, you are striving to move me, freerepublic, the GOP, and America to the left.
The way the human “beast” is, unwelcome homosexual come-ons are considered a particularly grave form of sexual harassment. Bandy about the word “homophobia” all you want, that’s the nature of the beast. “Will you be my sex partner” is NOT the egalitarian equivalent of “Will you be my wife/husband.” “Will you date me” doesn’t work the same across the divide either.
Once we have run up against a cold hard Fact about humanity, we can either respect it, or go on a quixotic quest trying to change it.
How wrong you are. Government must protect the innocence of children. Instead, the liberal establishment has put its entire weight behind destroying their lives at the whim of careless mothers, seducing them on the taxpayer's dime, pimping them to the powerful media and entertainment lobbies, exploiting them by handing them over to social experimentation by degenerates and abandoning them to a future of debt and privation.

Let me see if I am reading you right here -are you suggesting religious views have no place in politics?
IF so -then who exactly makes the “this is a religious view to be censored” determination?
Further -last I looked Religion was protected by the Constitution while homosexual sex to be publically embtaced as normal and rewarded by society was not... In other words we the people can make laws that restrict things that are not God given and inalienable and or specifically guaranteed by the Constitution...
