Newly-seated Republican Sen. Scott Brown (Mass.) on Monday joined Democrats in voting to end debate on their $15 billion jobs bill.
Brown crossed the aisle after Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) nixed an $85 billion, bipartisan plan in favor of a more narrowly-focused bill.

“He voted in FAVOR of RomneyCare, That should be a clue.”
____________
He not only voted in favor, he helped negotiate its’ successful passage.
Exactly, it wasn't about him being a pro abortion conservative (think about it), it was about getting a moderate, or even liberal Republican into the radically crazy seat of the radically liberal Ted Kennedy and his Democrat replacement.
Well, you might be right on this one. Vote “yes” on a 15 billion bill and tell Obama “no” on a trillion dollar health bill.
Time will tell.
It was said he was a Rino from the onstart. I here was called all kinds of names for calling him out, even liberal, troll etc and bascially told to leave. The guy is a deal maker. I truly believe some of you don’t know what a Rino is. Hint..just because there is republican behind their name doens’t mean they are a conservative. His record, his statements said he was a Rino. So why are we surprised..geesh.
And he won’t be able to stop the socialist take over of health care in reconcilation, either.
We got us a big fat, stupid Rino helping out the socialists for nothing. We never learn. There was a reason McCain supported the back stabbing porker.
The Democrats are going to be wining and dining Scot Brown. They’ll invite him to all the best parties and the media will make him the new McCain.
Snakes gotta bite, scorpions gotta sting, and "principled conservatives" gotta whine!
It's their nature.
I can forgive him for this. Honestly, this jobs bill is not that bad. $15 billion, of which $13 billion is small business tax cuts? If it were up to me I would be cutting spending now, rather than cutting taxes, but still this doesn’t seem so bad.
Scott Brown just ended any hope of presidential politics very curling up without any battles and siding with the Democrats for more massive tax payer funded spending.
Hey, Scott Brown! the jobs bill will fail because the government does not produce jobs, the private sector does.
Agree 100%.
Voting for the Jobs bill is not the same as voting for the Healthcare bill.
People need help. (I was for UI benefits extension even before I was laid off)

You work hard and get your guy elected and he goes to Washington and he ain’t your guy any more.
Massachusetts FReepers should call his offices and ask if he has read the bill.
Last I heard, it hadn’t been written yet.
I am looking forward to how McCain spins it now in Arizona, since he pushed Brown to run, and had Brown do robo-calls for him here in AZ the day after he was elected in MA... JD is going to have a field day with this.
ping.
The real issue here is this started out to be a “bipartisan” bill and then Harry turned it into a Democratic bill and refused any GOP ammendments; for that reason alone every Republican should vote no.
I totally agree.
Pro-aborts have no moral compass.
