Mr. Gage, who is a member of the American Institute of Architects, managed to persuade more than 1,000 of his peers to sign a new petition requesting a formal inquiry.

Does anyone know much about this organization?

If 1000 licensed and registered architects, and professional engineers feel there were internal explosions, then I ( personally) am willing to give them a chance to present and explain their argument.

And..NO, NO, NO, I do not believe our own government plotted to bring down the towers.

The American Istitute of Architects is the professional organization that represents architects. I am not only a member, but a past chapter president. The AIA has about 85,000 members nationally (although I can't seem to find an exact number). My guess is that the other 84,000 understand gravity and metallurgy a little better than the 1,000 loons they got to sign up.
