Hey, your friend isn’t the first one to make a judgment call just by hearing one side of the conversation. Not too sure why you think your friends reaction ‘showed something’.

IMO, what it showed is - your friend gossips and judgment is flawed- has no knowledge of what the other party did/said/is up to nor the one she’s listening to - what it really is all about.

My friend had no dog in the hunt and was simply reacting to the stimuli in his environment. Levin came off poorly. That kind of reaction is not what a professional communicator/persuador would be striving for. Unless he wants a lifetime of preaching to nothing but the choir.

You obviously have a liking to Levin and will defend him no matter. That my friend found Levin's whining on-air annoying and pathetic says more about Levin's broadcast communication skills than my friend's judgment. That is Levin's job.
