Read his book about his dog he lost...quite emotional. (I have had dogs die or had to put them down) but he surprised me at his maudlin emotions about his dog, mourning about his dog months after the death...but I do like to watch him when he is on TV cannot stand to listen to him on the radio. but a good conservative...

I cannot listen to Mark on the radio either. Love his ideas but he is too abrupt and rude to callers, even those who agree with him must feel put down.

As for the doggie book, I read it too, and his emotion was heartfelt. Some people just feel more strongly about their pets than others. My husband still mourns for our late lab, Stewart.

I had never heard him on the radio when I read his book about Sprite, his beautiful dog that passed away. Great book, great passion for his loyal animal. I’ve been a bit shocked, when we got his program locally, to hear that he treats humans with far less decency.

I far prefer hearing the classy Rush take a call from a lib. Any parent knows that once you become the screaming one, you have lost face and control, and YOU look like the idiot. While I think I probably agree with most everything he says, I can’t bear to hear him take calls.
