Even if we assume that number is correct (which obviously it is not inasmuch as 4 million jobs have been lost since the stimulus was passed), I don't think it is worth mortgaging our children's future, our grandkids', their grandkids', and frankly, our own future, to create a measily 2.5 million jobs that would have been replaced by the capitalist system if the politicians had not intervened and commandeered those workers for the public sector.
