I thought the speech was powerful, disruptive, and completely apropos considering the mess that Republicans have made of the party lately. I especially like the line where he said “One part likes to tax and spend, the other just likes to spend”.

We are drowning in an ocean of red ink. Be it the federal budget, social security, medicare, the states, whatever. It doesn’t help to just slow the increase in debt, it needs to be reversed. If Republicans get offended because they are being implicated in this, too bad.
