As a grandmother and great-grandmother, I watch all news channels to find out what is happening in the political arena known as Washington. Glenn Beck is correct in his accessment of BOTH parties. I have always been a Republican and supported them financially, but after the last few years of stupidity in Washington, I am now an Independent. The Republican party has been hijacked by people who have their own agenda, and it does not include the wishes of the American people. The Democrats have always been that way. Their idea of getting elected is to give the “people” more and more entitlements, i.e., the Stimulus Bill, the Healthcare Bill, and the Jobs Bill which is actually Stimulus II. Glenn Beck is the one exposing the corruption in BOTH parties, especially the Obama administration.
We as a nation will NEVER get out of debt if the spending is not stopped, and Beck is out front condemning the Democrats for passing bill after bill spending more and more of OUR money needlessly. Bush was wrong passing the TARP bill and should be chastised for that, but Obama is spending TRILLIONS for programs, Stimulus Package, Healthcare, Stimulus II that do not and will not work. Do you really think that the Healthcare bill will help the average American? NO. We will be “forced” to pay for insurance for the uninsured. Beck is correct is questioning the Constitutionality of this bill.
Was it Constitutional for the government to take over auto companies and give the majority of the stock to the Unions? NO. Was it Constitutional for the government to take over the Banking industry? NO. Again, Glenn Beck is correct is condemning both parties for their complacent “Oh well” attitude. The American people should start voting for the person who more closely mimics their ideals, i.e., cut spending, cut goverment, cut subsidies to every organization, i.e., ACORN, with their hand out, cut taxes for small businesses. These things will correct the economy and create jobs.
Promises are cheap and broken immediately after the election.

Instead of becoming an independent you should have joined your local GOP Women’s group and worked to change the party from inside the party... quitting doesn’t change anything any more than voting third party changes things.
