Beck is a master showman. When I first saw him on Fox, Glenn made me uneasy with his populist pap about both parties do it and the need for an ‘alternative’. Then out of the blue he decides to slam the ‘birthers’. So much for questioning with boldness and upholding the Constitution. I won’t listen to him anymore.
He reminds of Newt. He’s a great speaker too. Then he goes and sits on the couch with Nancy Pelosi and warns us about global warming.
EG, please don’t close the door, yet. Take a few seconds, and peek in - just once in awhile - you may be surprised.
Hey, think about this for a minute. Even though Obama failed to produce the long form of his birth certificate, it would show complete lunacy for anyone in the conservative movement to validate the birthers. The news media would have a field day with a powerful conservative voice.
With regards to his speech, he gave one of the best speeches regarding true conservative principles I have seen since Reagan.
Personal Responsibility, learning through failure, America is the example to the world and it can still be morning in America!
I love his mindset. I love how he explains that everyone can't win a trophy. It reminded me of George Carlen one time saying, “If everyone is special, it kind of ruins the word doesn't it?”
EXCELLENT SPEECH!
BRAVO GLENN
With due respect, don't ready your camera or bookmark to see Glen Beck with Pelosi or even Newt on the same infomercial. He may not be up to speed on the "birther" issue, but if you have an honest bone in your body, Beck has been on the cutting edge and dissed everyone, except Constitutionalists. Isn't that what this is all about?
If he worked for CNN, that would have been his deathnell. Oh, wait, it was. That's why he went to Fox.
Listen, I don't carry water for anyone other than my wife and my little dog, but Beck is informing people about our Constitutional heritage and many other matters. So what if he doesn't buy into the "birther" thing? I do, but still appreciate the clownish Beck to be putting things on a chalkboard most of America has never seen.
After watching his keynote speech at CPAC today, I was actually clapping my hands in my own house and even stood up for one of his ovations. So, I give Beck a 9.8 out 10. I'd give him another 1/10th percent if he backed away from his buffoonish antics on his daily show.
So, you're just going to tune him out because he doesn't buy into an unproven theory about Obama's heritage? Again, I think he's wrong, but with all the good he's doing by informing Americans about our heritage and the negative direction we're heading, I give him A BIG FAT PASS!
