CPAC is not conservative anymore. It is firmly in the grip of Romney who wants to use it for his nefarious purposes, to masquerade as a conservative.
Don’t think the Dems aren’t encouraging this as well, with lefists like E.J.Dionne praising Romney and saying that fraudster is better qualified than Palin for the Presidency.
And Dems are the ultimate beneficiaries of the marginalization of social conservatives in the GOP. If they drive the Social conservatives out of the GOP, it makes it much easier to secure Obama’s reelction. Romney or Obama? Two sides of the same false coin.
