In case you haven’t noticed, there’s a war on. Dancing the minuette and curling the little finger while saying “please and thank you” don’t win wars.
And with DADT we have currently over 13,00 gays serving in the military...I am sure they are not doing the minuette in Iraq and Afghanistan.
No one here has complained about DADT in the last years since Clinton, so lets not get ridiculous now about “In case you haven’t noticed, there’s a war on.”....
It is reasonable to have a discussion as to WHy it is not a good idea to reverse DADT at this time.
