I am also opposed to the promotion of homosexuality. I just don't think that politically we can be the party that hates homosexuals. I think there is a difference between the two, and I think we can condemn the homosexual agenda without condemning homosexuals for their personal choices.

can you illustrate how that could be done? concrete examples? because what i have seen condemned on this thread as hatred, appears in large part merely to be a desire that the conservative agenda NOT promote the homosexual agenda, and not animus against homosexuals themselves. So, i would be interested to hear specifically what you think can be done to acheive that end while not imparting what you consider to be hatred.

I think a lot of what was on this thread was actually good. As others have said, no matter what we do people will call it homophobia. But I think it matters whether they are right or wrong on that assessment.
