Clear? When the rubber must meet the road, the GOP is as clear as the mud in a Louisiana swamp. Oh, they talk a good game... but, in the end, they act no different than the Democrats. Somewhere in Washington DC there must exist a vast graveyard of detached spines... Since I have yet to encounter a sitting Republican who is still in possession of his, and the Democrats never had one to begin with... except when it comes to screwing the American people... then they are indefatigable juggernauts... while the Republicans practice their knitting.

The GOP is infested by a cabal of political whores, whom stand for nothing but themselves... and would sell the store if not for a few lone conservative voices crying in the wilderness. A conservative platform of ideas? Please, spare me that drivel. The GOP admits into its ranks every idea except the conservative brand. The only time their ears unclog is after they loose an election, but unfortunately the lucidity is temporary.

So the GOP never goes home with the one who brought them to the dance. Instead, led by poltroons and effeminate intellectual jerk-offs, it plays political football in the best tradition of Lucy Van Pelt and Charlie Brown. That is why over the past 20 years their accomplishments for the cause of conservatism would not fill a pail... and we conservatives end up flat on our backs. That is why we still have abortion on demand, homosexual marriage, a collapsed industrial base, a broken financial system, a fascist-inclined authoritarian oligarchy for government, and a national debt that, if its worthless fiat currency were laid end to end, would reach the Moon. In the political arena, when push comes to shove, the Republicans have fallen and they can’t get “it” up.

Oh yes, we brag about NJ and VA and... OMG! Massachusetts! However, have any here actually examined the “rest” of Scott Brown’s positions? Hardly conservative, but unmistakeably the unabashed equivocating ambiguities of a RINO. Or do any here delude themselves to think Massachusetts is suddenly in the conservative corner? So while most are cheering because Senator Brown will cast a vote against Obamacare, just what will these same individuals do once their adopted Massachusetts son starts casting votes in the same vein as John McCain?

More pointedly towards John McCain’s present electoral contest, and since I am in a mood to raise hackles, will some prescient individual please explain why it must be that Sarah Palin is supporting the re-election of this treacherous RINO jackass? What was that I stated a few rants ago about “principle”? I have to wonder whether all is completely lost, when even “Sarahcuda” sings the song of sell-out.

Most of those who call themselves Republicans are no better than the tyrannical socialists whom they conveniently, in the end, never fail to play footsie. That unfortunate reality explains why, that no matter which political party holds majority power, the “progressive” agenda never looses an inch of ground, while the conservatives barely tread water, if not outright sink beneath the waves of socialism that pound this republic without a moment’s pause. It’s all one grand circle jerk... and we are the jerks for allowing these GOP frauds to continue their shenanigans, without stringing a few up from the light poles just to remind them of who it is they serve.

No. America has not statesmen, but rather impotent poltroons, whom will just as quickly thrust a wet finger into the air so to test the political trade winds as would ever any of their contemporaries across the ideological aisle. To a progressive, there is no “wet dream” like that of co-opting ... er-uhm ... “cooperating” with their opponents Uphold the truth? Hell, boy... that’s idealistic; that’s not expedient!

Many in the GOP leadership, and in particular that two-faced clueless coward, Michael Steele, would shank their grandmothers, if they thought the betrayal would gain them some electoral ground with those who are in fact the worst enemies of individual liberty. After all... We simply MUST have “bi-partisanship!” Who would dare think to stand on principle... That’s so outdated!

How else do you explain tolerance for such RINO traitors the likes of McCain, Snowe, Collins, Specter, et al?

Now, come 2012, the GOP is going to once again push on conservatives that smiling phony Mitt Romney? That sideshow did not work the last time, but that result will not stop the schmucks in the GOP leadership from making another attempt at flying their worn-out lead zeppelin over the conservative base. Spin Crash and Burn... again.

An elephant is supposed to never forget... Unfortunately the GOP leadership never learns anything to begin with.

Yowza - great rant. Reading it was like watching someone cut through a jungle with a machete - whack, whack, whack! The traitorous GOP do-nothing strategy is absolutely crucial to the Rats - they couldn’t stand up to truly determined dissent for a day.

The GOP’s job is to be what the military calls a “force multiplier,” delaying, obfuscating, obstructing, exhausting and otherwise blocking any focused efforts against the Rats. At least we now have the RINO term to use against them, as well as the cognitive splitting off of conservatives from RINOs the term enables. That’s a big deal - seeing the enemy clearly is crucial.

That’s why the Rats, RINOs and MSM en masse are all attacking the hell out of the tea party movement, to fragment it, pit the fragments against each other, and drain it’s power into factionalized infighting and loss of vision. In the short term, these tactics are going to seem effective, but ultimately they will force conservatives to get very, very clear about their focus, like coal being pressured into forming a diamond. Only when that happens will there be enough power to bring the country back to it’s original Constitutional principles.

Telling it much like it is, and rather eloquently i think.

But i always contends that the real case is a spiritual one, that the rejection of the Evangelical faith and authority of the Bible (in real-time) precedes the election of deceivers and the downfall of a nation.

Hos 8:4 They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.

I agree, your post was great, made me tear up. It’s way past time to make our stand.

I hope you’re writing to your representatives with this same fervor. If a few more of us did this, we might actually change some minds ... or scare them out of business for someone else who gives a damn.
