Ryan Sorba, from the Young Americans for Freedom organizations California chapter, was booed off the stage tonight at CPAC, for deriding CPACs choice to have GOProud attend CPAC, even going so far as to say he condemns CPAC. Not the sort of thing one would say when invited to speak at the biggest gathering of Conservatives who look to CPAC for guidance and networking.

Astounding applause.
O-W-N-E-D.
“O”.
Not “P”.
well said and remembered
-------------
"LOL! Careful that's another one of the homosexuals' favorite pastimes, 'golden showers', I'm sure GOProud is proud of that."
I don't care who you are, that was funy right there now.
It’s worth noting that the phrase “gay conservative” is an oxymoron, so thank you very much for standing up for family values.
And great line about the exit being on the left.
get with it Rich ...this is important culture.....PWNED or PWN3D is net-gametalk for OWNED
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pwn
it’s a social phenomenum like Epic Beard Man
Thus collapses Western Civilization.
On the rubble will be written:
“P-W-N-E-D”.
1,000!
Not yet?
Oh, well.
It seems that you have an awesome family, awesome land, and an awesome car.
It ought to be recognized that campaigns taking those non-positions ultimately end up with 38% or 42% of the vote. No base, no excitement or passion, no courage of convictions, no values, no morality, nothing. Losers deserve to be losers and those who have no courage don't deserve to prevail.
This country needs a counterbalance to Obama. That means taking positions that are in direct opposition to him and his Democraps in Congress. It's more than a loyal opposition, we need a CONFRONTATION on these critically important issues.
After all it is our lives, and our children's future, and our very country that is at stake. Out with Obama, out with Pelosi, out with a complacent GOP. Vote them all out and bring on a revolution at the next ballot opportunity.
Yes, it does, because the truth always matters.
- IOW, we should make sure we dont come across as haters and bigots and homophobes.
No. We will "come across" as haters whether we are or not, because that is what they will say we are. It's not how we "come across", it's what we actually ARE that matters.
Their opinion matters; they have to realize we are not homophobes.
No, their opinion does not matter, because their opinion is not based on fact, it is pre-conceived and fixed. What matters is whether their opinion is CORRECT or not.
So they don't have to "realize" was are not "homophobes" -- we simply need to not BE "homophobes", whatever that word means.
God 'blessed' these people not with fire and brimstone, but with A.I.D.S., formerly known as G.R.I.D., but they still won't take the hint and continue to blatantly mock Him. Ryan Sorba spoke truth and the degenerates in the audience shouted 'kill him' while the weak-kneed, lily livered, spineless conservatives in the audience said nothing and did nothing. Is this the future of conservatism? Let's hope not.
I’m sorry, I’ve tried to understand your comments, and they make absolutely no sense. To me.
This is my understanding:
The opinions of the homosexual agenda pushers are meaningless, just as the ravings and babblings of madmen are meaningless.
Truth and morality matter and anyone who sees this to be true better gird their loins and get active.
You’re already here.
;-)
There were still a couple or three that needed banning a couple of hours ago.
And why were the conservatives afraid? Are they kaffirs now? This whole affair is so chaotic! These sissy scaredy-cat conservatives aren’t going to take America back! It’s get along, go along still. What a disaster: no mention of the border invasion and al-Norquist in the bag for Juan McCain.
I don’t have a problem with most of it. I do believe everyone should be treated equally under the law...however, I believe marriage is a religious institution and don’t believe the government should be in the marriage business at all. I’ve never served in the military, so I do not feel I can speak intelligently as to the positives/negatives of DADT. I do however find it interesting that while all of this bickering is going on about allowing gay and lesbian individuals to serve openly in the military, one (or possibly more) America-hating muslim extremist(s) attempted to and/or succeeded in murdering our men and women in uniform. Our men and women at Ft. Hood have paid the price and now Ft. Jackson may have been vulnerable to an attack from within. IMO, that is the bigger issue that is not being adequately addressed.
Also, I’m NOT a member of the GOP and am a libertarian-leaning independent. So there’s your context. I just do not like stereotypes. I did not appreciate being called an evil, dirty Republican when I voted for Bush in 2004, nor do I appreciate being called a right-wing extremist for holding a sign at a tea party. None of those labels describe me (or all of Republicans and tea partiers for that matter) yet they are used time and time again to describe larger groups with which I have aligned myself at one point or another. So in this respect, I find it inappropriate to assign the gay mafia label, or any other stereotype, to a very diverse group of people. Believe it or not, marriage equality is not a huge issue for the ENTIRE gay community.
Nothing ticks me off more than when liberals shout down conservative speakers. While I find Mr. Sorba’s comments rather immature and inflammatory, he should be heard. Booing him was certainly unbecoming of someone that respects the First Amendment.
That being said, social issues are divisive within the conservative movement even in the best of times. To bring them up now is like trying to nationalize one-sixth of the economy when everyone else is concerned about jobs, jobs, jobs.
I myself don't see anger here, only individuals that are passionate about not infusing the Conservative party with a homosexual agenda.
Frankly, I can't see how anyone could be proud of depraved sexual activity.
Actually, I can't see how anyone can have pride in promiscuity either, though many of our leaders seem to believe that it is okay.
We all need Jesus, but He didn't refrain from condemning what was evil!
There is not such thing as the “gay community”. There are individuals who identify (at least for the time being) as homosexual. Many do change. Homosexuality is a psychological illness.
Those who push the homosexual agenda are trying to destroy the natural family which is the basic foundation of human civilization. They want to change all the rules of society and this cannot be allowed or tolerated.
Just because someone has never been in the military doesn’t mean they can’t have an intelligent, informed opinion about DADT. Muslims shoudln’t be allowed in the military, either.
His children and acquaintances say that he was very non-judgemental about gays in Hollywood....but that's almost beside the point. We're not going to gain many votes and we stand to lose a lot of them if we try to make private behavior one of our core issues.
These next two elections are way too important.
