Ryan Sorba booed off CPAC stage for anti-homosexual remarks
Right Pundits ^ | Feb 19, 2010 | Donald Borsch Jr.

Ryan Sorba, from the Young Americans for Freedom organization’s California chapter, was booed off the stage tonight at CPAC, for deriding CPAC’s choice to have GOProud attend CPAC, even going so far as to say he “condemns CPAC”. Not the sort of thing one would say when invited to speak at the biggest gathering of Conservatives who look to CPAC for guidance and networking.

You're just propagating a false talking point that social conservatives want to legislate what homos do in their bedroom.

There is no fracture on FR. None of us want to be bludgeoned with the homosexual agenda. We don't want our children indoctrinated in schools that this is an acceptable lifestyle. We also don't want the definition of traditional marriage changed.

By the way FR has been a very strong social conservative site along with other types of conservatives. The owner of the site just don't want to turn the site into a gay agenda forum.

CPAC will now forever be known as FUDGEPAC.

David Keene and his merry band of RINOs are finished.

Yeah, I look him/her/it up, too. But the leftist trolls have gotten rather good at cover - they think they know the pat lines they have to spout to appear "conservative" in order to gain entry. "Limbaugh is to [sic] liberal for me" is a little over the top, though, and reveals the troll for what he is. Kind of like a cross-dresser going so far overboard with the makeup and clothes, they end up looking like a caricature of what they're trying to be.

I'm recommending his banning, definitely. You don't call conservatives "bigots" without revealing what a hardened leftist you are.

I used to feel as you do, that the Gov. has no business telling consenting adults what to do and no business telling me who to associate with. That was until.....

Numerous citizens had their votes thrown out and had gay marriage forced upon us by the Gov and/or activist judges. When the voters of close to 20 states all vote down Gay Marriage and yet it’s forced upon us by the Gov, that is tyranny.

We learn our children are being taught about homosexuality in school and much worse (see Kevin Jennings, Safe School Czar) - then we learn some areas of the country are prohibiting parents from opting their children out of pro-gay classes. Our children are not consenting adults and I’ll be damned if I’m going to allow the Gov. to decide what and how I will teach them about gays.

We learn that those who believe in traditional marriage have had to defend themselves in court to protect their names and addresses from being put on the Internet with groups calling for retaliation against them. Others have been attacked, death threats made to their families, their businesses protested etc. All for excerpting their constitutional rights to disagree with the homosexual agenda and petitioning the government for redress of grievances.

I can go on and on but I think the point is pretty clear.

We are way passed the point of live and let live. Now we have our Gov forcing onto all of us a lifestyle we may or may not agree with. That is intolerable.

While many people would be willing to have a live and let live attitude; that opinion quickly changes when they find out they have no right to live the same way. That is where we find ourselves today and why so many Americans and Conservatives are so against the gay agenda.

Sorry, but Reagan had many homosexual friends, whether we knew it or not.

Did he advocate for their ability to marry? Did he push the absurd notion of special "civil rights" based on sexual behavior which is changable (Anne Heche, Sarah MacLachlan, Ted Haggard, ex-gays, etc)?

I have gay friends too. I oppose SSM.

[I’ll judge what I want to judge, but I don’t think that government has any business telling people what to do in their personal lives,]

So you don't mind, by allowing homosexual "spouses" into the health insurance pool, being forced to pay for their abuse of medical technology to effect their further abomination of nature - procreating themselves by manufacturing sperm from female stem cells, for example?

You're ok with that?

I sent it info@yaf.org with Ryan’s comments at CPAC in the subject line.

If someone else has a better address, feel free to post it.

Did you think my post was NOT in agreement with your?

Cause and effect, reap what you sow, law of karma -- all amount to the same thing. I have been at least vaguely aware since the age of about 15, that as a wealthy world power, we run the risk of the fate of the Roman Empire. I am in agreement with you that moral absolutes must be upheld. The Germanic peoples practiced a Spartan self-discipline, for they lived close to the land, where nature is unforgiving.

Selfish over-indulgence and apathy about injustice to others are the great sins of dissolution that ruined the Roman Empire. Jaded appetites and vacant consciences. Let's not let it happen here!

I hope you’re writing to your representatives with this same fervor. If a few more of us did this, we might actually change some minds ... or scare them out of business for someone else who gives a damn.

For those who wish to be “left alone,” how is it that they find it necessary to force their “practice” on the rest of humanity?

BTW... Beliefs may be plural... BUT Truth is singular.

Now, how is it NOT an insult to reason to argue against the natural order, which demonstrably supports the truth that the two sexes, being mutually complimentary by biological design and specific emotional peculiarity, have but one natural end -— to affect the propagation of the human race?

How is it not an insult to reason to argue that homosexual “copulation” — a practice proven to be physiologically and psychologically destructive — is normal within the natural order, when save for seduction, it is intrinsically incapable of propagating its members, and thus constitutes a suicidal organism? Left to their own ends, and absent the coercive act of seduction, homosexuals would soon become extinct.

Where did I say that homos should have fertility covered? I’m hetero, and my wife and I paid for our own fertility with our first child. Talk about a strawman...

I misunderstood your post... not being too lucid on the finer points of Roman and German history. My apologies.
