A parachute is certainly an option on that plane. That particular area is full of open space and roads, any pilot with any experience would have steered into an open space if he were still alive at the wheel. If the pilot had a stroke or heart attack, then landings are random events.

That plane looks just like the Tesla plane.....I know I know...completely different, but odd these two crashes in two days.
