keeping unqualified sponges in the ranks- is a failure of leadership, not a failure of the general ability of women to serve
unfortunately too many military supervisors have turned into pussies by being too “PC” to confront the obvious, and show lack of confidence in their Generals and civilian leadership to back them up
Major Hasan was a stunning and extreme example
I agree, but the problem will still persist.
You can have a “good” soldier who performs peacetime duties for years, but suddenly comes up short whene war comes-a-calling. Again, I’ve seen THOUSANDS of examples. You simply don’t know that an FCP is a failure until the last minute.
The problem is there is no punishment. These soldiers are simply terminated from the service.
