President Obama To Attend Maloof-Hosted Las Vegas Fundraiser
Feb. 17, 2010 George Maloof of the Sacramento Kings ownership family will host a million-dollar fundraiser attended by President Barack Obama on Thursday night at his Las Vegas home.
The Maloof family also owns The Palms hotel and casino in Las Vegas. George Maloof, who runs The Palms, and has donated to both Democrat and Republican campaigns, declined to talk politics, but confirmed his home will be used for the event.
"I'm very excited," he said today. "It's just an honor to have the president at my house."
The intimate fundraiser will happen soon after Obama arrives in Las Vegas Thursday evening for an 18-hour visit. The president will hold a town hall meeting on jobs and the economy Friday, the White House itinerary shows.

Obama should go to a casino and bet $1 trillion on roulette. If he wins, he can pay off the national debt. If he loses, it won’t be much different than the rest of his fiscal policy.

It’s always good business to host the president. I’ve eaten in several restaurants that Bill Clinton also ate in. Most of them feature good food, generous portions, and plump young waitresses.
The article stated that the great zero was going to the guy’s house, not restauraunt.

Bragging rights is bragging rights. I’m sure there’s some place in America which is extremely proud of its “Millard Fillmore Slept Here” plaque.

Yeah, but most americans would probably think that was the name of a Disney cartoon duck.
Hopefully in 150 years, Obama will be as obscure.

For those tourists who don’t go to Las Vegas very often:
Stay away from The Palms.
It has all the slutty parties where Paris Hilton, Brittany, and others of dubious reputation hold court.
Go where it is definately more family friendly.
Funny how NObama has castigated Las Vegas over and over again, and now when he goes there, he sure doesn’t go to the classy places. The Palms is tramp city.
Mayor Goldman is still angry at the Oval Office Hoax, and is refusing to attend any functions anywhere near NObama. Big Ears has run into the immovable force in Oscar!
The Maloof’s are Lebonese and Saudi Arabian. The word Malouf means ‘tax-exempt’ in Arabic. Zer0 is well at home with these people.
Note to self.....Never spend at the Palms Hotel and Casino....
