Bayh will get some government appointment, ed.g, ambassador, cabinet member, agency head, etc or become a lobbyist. I do find the following interesting.

President-Elect Obama Supports Senator in Recruiting Tony Dungy for Government Work--Tony Dungy hasn't even been unemployed for two full days just yet, but he's already coveted by the government. Evan Bayh, a Senator from Indiana, would like to bring Dungy aboard to promote responsible fatherhood nationwide.

Maybe Tony Dungy is going to run for Bayh's seat.

I've heard him speak on social issues before. I would not automatically assume that since Dungy is black, ergo he's a dem. I can tell you this, he played for the Steelers and Chuck Noll and first coached under Noll. Art Rooney, the Steelers patriarch was a Republican (not sure what happened to son Dan, but don't let him fool you. He's always been a Democrat) and Chuck Noll was very conservative. Not sure what his party affiliation was because he never talked politics, but he was very conservative.
