He was unhappy with the liberal take over of the “D” party. He’s basically a conservative “D”...even though he seldom voted against the party line...SInce the majority of his war chest came from out of state “D” sources guess he thought he had to vote the way the money told him to vote.

One day ya look in the mirror (and see the Scottie Brown election) and BAM! You’ve had enough!

Why?

1. He was a Hillary supporter and would have been her VP candidate. Obama stole Indiana in the primaries with thugs and ruthless tactics.

2. Obama put him very publicly on the short list for VP, then jerked him around (and no doubt got dirt on him through vetting) and then chose Biden. How humiliating.

3. Bayh is not an extreme leftist, and working with such has to have contributed to this, but I think it’s a very personal shafting of Obama and Reid.
