The theory of global warming continues to fall apart. The Daily Mail reports today that Professor Phil Jones, the academic at the center of ClimateGate, admits that there has been no global warming since 1995. That’s quite an admission, but it becomes even better: he now also says that the world may have been warmer during the dark ages.
The Times of London adds that the ‘United Nations climate panel faces a new challenge with scientists casting doubt on its claim that global temperatures are rising inexorably because of human pollution.’ John Christy, professor of atmospheric science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, a former lead author on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, now sincerely questions the data the IPCC relied to argue that ‘the evidence that the world was warming was “unequivocal”.’ Ross McKitrick, professor of economics at the University of Guelph, Canada, who was invited by the panel to review its last report said he agrees with Christy.

Global Warming Is Dying a Slow and Painful Death
Well, yes and no.
No one was actually trying to protect mankind against a possible catastrophe and the dirty liars who used warming as a front aren’t going anywhere and STILL want WHAT they want.
Must have been the CO2 emissions from the goats and cows that caused dark ages global warming?
Worried about when we do need to believe the scientist and we won’t.
They cried wolf.
It’s one thing to gripe and complain about these things and disagree with it, but it’s quite another to convince your friends and neighbors and relatives and coworkers...
THEREFORE..., it’s also absolutely necessary for people to know the information in the following documentary. If there were simply one video that you could see and/or show people you know... this would be the one...

There was global cooling in the 70's, the population bomb, avian flu, swine flu, global warming...
The left has taken over the mouth of science and used it to sell every crisis they could come up with. The one unifying theme is that people need to give up freedom for some "greater good"...except they've all been scams.
You're right, even if there were some real emergency science has lost it's credibility to provide an alarm to it.
I think we learned these agendas need to be attacked hard and fast at their inception.
If only Islam were next.
I do not agree that global warming alarmism is reducing in its influence. Quite the contrary. The alarmists are only more determined. You cannot argue with an alarmist. Anything you say will be ridiculed. They are steadfast that science is behind their claims without any meaningful uncertainty. They are adamant about every aspect of climate change. Even when I raise doubts about the economic implications of policies, they ridicule me. Even when I indicate that the term “denier” is meant for denial of well documented historical events (holocaust), they ridicule me.
The closest reaction in a scientific debate is evolution versus creationism. I do not think that creationism has any scientific merit but I agree that evolution is still an evolving theory. This debate has little economic consequences so it is not worth spending much time over.
Do not be lulled into thinking that the alarmists are retreating in any way. The alarmists have major politicians and government on their side. We must continue to fight a war in the trenches to convince the public of the madness of the policy proposals.
That’s well said - I should’ve worded it like that in the post. Ah well.
Virtually every country involved in global warming legislation has some kind of climate Change or global warming “Czar”, including US. If these countries don’t start taking this fraud seriously and start announcing investigations we will all know our respective governments have been complicit. That would be treasonous.
As the religion and catch phrase of “global warming” dies, watch for a new and improved version to take it’s place, one that can encompass any and all world-wide weather and natural disasters. The phrase “climate change” is not good enough because it can also imply natural climate changes, what is needed is a phrase that is more dire in it’s meaning, perhaps something like “global warning.” Yes, the world is warning man that it ain’t gonna take anymore, and the world demands that mankind go back to living like we did in first century A.D. Of course the world also demands that A.D not be used because that would imply a Christian worldview, and Christians are the ones who are mainly responsible for the world being as bad off as it is.
Heck the global temperatures are “changing” all of the time.
The temperatures were increasing. Now they are decreasing.
But to claim something as truth — “done deal” — when a system is so complicated as planetary weather systems.
These so called scientists knew what they were doing.
