The United States is pressing for very tough new sanctions against Iran this month, a top US aide said Sunday, suggesting that the move could help bring about "regime change."

Typical liberal. Have "tough" sanctions ever worked to effect regime change? Anywhere, anytime??? Or does this tactic have, as I suspect, a 100% failure rate in this area? Liberals are always sure that because something sounds right or idealistic and meets their world-view that it must work. Never mind all of recorded history, this time'll be different, we just need the right people in charge... {snort}
