She resigned her first term governor of Alaska. That by itself is a huge dis qualifier. All the excuses about why she resigned are totally meaningless from political point of view. You cannot take the most difficult job in the world i.e. the Presidency of the United States when you could not take the heat and finish your first term governor.

You need to stop beating that dead horse.
Resign or not, she has vastly more executive experience than 0bama and Biden combined when they run for the presidency in 2008.
This is a non-issue.
She is still polling at the head or close to the top in every polling for the GOP primary for 2012.

Palin’s resignation enabled her ongoing service to the people in the face of political psychopaths blocking her ability to serve as governor.

Taking the hard way out, she gave up power in the name of doing what was best for the people who elected her.

Yes. This has made me wonder since the day she resigned.

She resigned her first term governor of Alaska. That by itself is a huge dis qualifier.

In Alaska, we have a system that allows any nut-case to file ethics complaints against politicians, at no cost to the nut-case.

The accused has to pay for their own defense. Even if the complaint turns out to be frivolous, the legal bills will amount to $25,000.00, PER COMPLAINT!!

Sarah was the victim of about 25 of these complaints. That amounts to over $500,000.00. Through hard work, the Palins make a comfortable living. They, by no stretch of the imagination, were rich people. This would have bankrupted them. It was also taking so much of her time, she felt she was becoming ineffective and costing the State millions of dollars. By resigning the Governorship, she was able to write her book and using her new fame , make money making speeches.

It also freed her up to defend herself in public against her accusers.

So, if you don't like Sarah Palin, or you think someone else could do a better job, say so. But, don't go around repeating the Dem talking points by calling her a quitter.

Personally, I think it's time to get someone in there who can use common sense in running this country, someone who worries about US interests, not someone who appears to be on course to lead us into a one-world govt. We've done alright for over 200 years with our Constitution. We don't need any foriegn leaders to tell us what is good for us. Commmon sense and Patriotism, Sarah Palin fits the bill.
