To: Nowhere Man

No, my mother WAS a nurse. She was a nursing supervisor actually, the last she worked at a nursing home in Maryland. She specialized in geriatrics...but she got a brain tumor (benign) and after it was removed in 1996, she got complications and had brain damaged. She was basically a medical mess. She had no impulse control, so she got very heavy....

And we didn’t have any idea that something was going to happen right away...but it did.

The way I see it, God was merciful. She was 72, but she didn’t suffer....well, any more than the months after the brain surgery.

That worries me....my grandpaernts are in their 70s and doing fine, but every time I talk to them they’re always going to some Dr. appointment or other.
