Rush did not play. The rumor is, they were supposed to be after the punk fiddlers and the whole segment was supposed to be very upscale (they were going across the country by providence and that would have been in the Toronto, Great Lakes section) and more about city life. But due to the luger’s passing, they organizers thought they should cut it and keep the whole thing somber. :-|
So the new rumor is that they will be in the closing ceremonies.
I figured they called some audibles last night because of what happened earlier.
